A civilian has been shot dead by suspected militants in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). The incident happened on Sunday in the Tral area of Pulwama.
The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Ghulam Nabi Mir.
Ghulam Nabi Mir, a contractor by profession, was shot at by militants outside his house at Tral Payeen around 7.30 pm, the officials said.
Ghulam Nabi Mir was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, they said.
No militant outfit has so far claimed the responsibility for the killing.
